Today was mostly about going out to the museums and IFEZ (Incheon Free Economic Zone).  We first went to the City Museum.  We were able to see some of the past history of Korea and Incheon.  While we are here on this trip it is good to learn a little bit about the places you are going.  Going to the museums might not be the best of most favorite part of the trip but atleast going to one is worth while.  The next museum we went to was Songdo War Memorial Museum.  General MacArthur is a pretty big hero in Korea.  This museum shows how he helped and other different aspects of the war.  After the two museums we went to eat lunch.  Our Korean buddies joined us and we all ate together and had a good time.  When we left the restaurant we went to a park.  We were able to walk around and just relax for a while which was really good.  We did run into a few men and we ended up running on this wheel thing.  Very interesting, the girls were much better then the boys.  I will have to post the video so everyone will know what I'm talking about.  After the park we went to the seafood market.  We walk around in this huge market place that sold all different types of seafood.  It was a very interesting experience.  The sellers were not used to seeing foreigners in this market so sometimes they would kind of stare and look but this was expected so it didnt bother us.  Some of the people also would say a few things to us. They would ask us where we were from or they would compliment us.  They even called Jessica and Ashlin dolls.  We ended up eating at a restaurant in the seafood market.  We had a great time that night.  We ate seafood and it "attacked" us back, but still it was a great time.  I ate oysters and clams, which I have never ate before but they were ok maybe I will start eating them back at home. 

So today was my third day in Korea and it has all be so great and surreal. We ate breakfast and then we walked to the conference room on the other side of campus.  Today we had our presentations so we had to look nice and dressed up.  This time i wore my on clothes instead of Ashlins lol.  My presentation was on what there is to do when the students come to study at Lander University.  I was nervous about mine because I thought it wasnt good enough, but it actually went pretty well.  Mine was within the time limit and explain what it needed to.  Everyone did a really great job and the students seemed to enjoy them.  We ate lunch in the teachers cafeteria.  Which was interesting because our teacher just eat with everyone else they dont have there own place.  The special for today was some kind of seafood pot thing.  It had all types of different seafood in it. There was even some baby octopuses in the soup.  I tried one and it wasn't as bad as you would imagine, just a little chewy.  After we ate we were able to sit in on one of the classes.  This class was spoke in English so we actually knew what was going on.  As far as the class went it was your basic lecture class, not much difference from america.  The only that might of been different was that the communication was mostly one way.  The students did not ask many questions or really say anything but this was a graduate class so that could be normal.  After this  we listened to SarahAnn Sutter make a presentation on being a foreigner in Korea.  She is a professor who is teaching english at the university.  She had a nice presentation.  It was a little long but it had a lot of information in it.  After SarahAnn we listened to our "Korean Buddies" give some presentations about the university and Korea.  They did a very good job as well.  The highlight of the day was when we got to go to Korean family's house to eat dinner.  The ten of us were spit into pairs of two and sent off with a family to eat for the night.  I believe Ivy and I had the best time out of all the groups.  Jenny is a student at the university and also one of our buddies.  Her mom cooked for us and it was amazing!!!!!  Probably one of the best meals I will have in Korea.  Also her friend stopped by and played a traditional Korean instrument for us.  She was really good.  After we ate Jenny and her dad took us back to the guest house.  Event though the beginning of the day was a little stiff, the night ended perfectly. 

             Woke up to eat some quick breakfast before we headed out for the day. Boyoung was nice enough to get us some things to eat.  We had oranges, cereal, juice, brownies, dounuts, and some kind of goldfish type things.  My roommate, Ashlin, let me wear one of her dresses since we had to kinda dress up today.  We went to one of the conference rooms, which was really nice. We met some more ambassdors who were just as nice as the other students. All the students we meet here are great.  We talk with the head of the internationl programs at The University of Incheon and also with the president of the university. After talking with them we went to eat at in ON CAMPUS restaurant named Bon Apetite. It was buffet style and it was pretty good. I tried some escargo for the first time and I actually liked it.  After we ate we took a tour of the campus.  Their campus here is so much bigger then Lander. We were all pretty tired by the end of the tour.  The campus is pretty new, maybe about 3 years old, so it was all very nice and modern. We then got on the bus and went to this island type place that had many rides, shops, vendors, and lots of people.  While there we stop an a coffee shop to get somethings.  I had a blueberry smoothie which tasted just like yogurt.  After that was the Museum of Korea Emigration History.  That place was pretty interesting. I was able to learn a little background about Korea.  The last thing we did was go to Chinatown.  Yes, they do have a Chinatown in Korea.  There happen to be a festival going on that day.  Which work out great for us because alot of people were out and there was music and entertainment going on.  We ate at a chinese restraunt while we were down there.  Personally I think I like Korean food better then korean chinesse food, but the food was still good.
